FAQs

If you need one or two strong photo that works for LinkedIn, actor headshot, a bio page, or a byline, book the portrait session. If you're building out a website or a season of content and need variety, book the branding session.

How do I know which session to book?

1

The proof gallery is every usable frame from the session, watermarked, so you can see everything and pick your favorites. The retouched images are the ones we finish by hand: skin, stray hairs, anything distracting. Those come to you clean and high-resolution with no watermark. Most people find the one they want in the first ten minutes of scrolling.

What's the difference between the proof gallery and the retouched images?

2

You'll be directed the entire time and you won't have to figure out what to do with your hands.

What if I hate having my photo taken?

3

Can I use these for anything?

4

Yes. Your retouched images are yours to use however you want, personal or commercial, with no additional licensing fee.

How do I know which session to book?

Two or three options in solid colors. Necklines that sit well on you, nothing with a loud pattern or a visible logo. Bring the extra shirt you're unsure about. We'll help you pick, and that conversation is part of the session.

What should I wear?

6

Most people do their own, and that's completely fine. Do what you'd normally do for an important meeting and you'll photograph well. If you'd rather hand it off, we can bring in an artist for an additional fee when booked in advance.

Do you do hair and makeup?

7

What if we finish early?

8

Then you're free to go. What matters is that you leave with photos you're happy with, not that we use up the clock. Plenty of people get what they need in half the time. But having the full window means nobody is watching a clock while you change shirts or decide you want to try one more thing. It also means if traffic doesn't cooperate, you’ll have extra buffer time for the session.
